A hidden gem! We needed rural tranquility and we found it here! Many friendly seasonal campers are greeting us and each other as they are opening up their places, and the friendly owners are hard at work. I can imagine myself or my child at six or seven having access to this place. I also imagine a young child growing up in the bustling world coming here to experience something entirely different. Bring the bicycles! There are areas where they can roam safely. Be sure to find the tree-house. Find what I call the mini-kid, mini-golf course. Just walk right up and help yourself! The clubs are on the picnic table and the balls are right there! Enter the rustic game room and play a little Foosball. Next, bring the kids on a nature walk through the woods and pick up a little downed wood to start your campfire along the way, then have a dip in the pool. This is NOT a high-tech, intense environment. It is a moment in time every child should experience. The campsites are large and well-maintained. The bathrooms are clean and stocked. There is also a modern, well maintained handicapped bathroom here where a person has complete privacy in a bathroom with a locking door and a handicapped shower, toilet, and chair. There are two other complete-privacy bathrooms with showers, and the more traditional bathhouse. We are getting good cell phone reception. The owners list some nearby places to visit, along with daytrips for rainy days. If you want to decompress by a campfire with good book and wake up to a chorus of birds, come here. We will be back.

Sites are easy to get into, we met some very nice people. The park is small and each site has plenty of room. Golf carts are welcome and there are plenty of trails to explore. The 4th of July fireworks display was amazing. It went on for 45mins. A great e at time was had.

This place is a really nice campground. The sites were spacious and had full hook ups. We had a pull through and it was level and very easy to set up at. The people were all so friendly, we felt very comfortable here.

Full disclosure before my review: You may like this type of campground, but it wasn't for us. Very rustic, small, quiet campground in the middle of nowhere. Outbuildings are a little run down. There is a pool, but it was covered by heavy plastic, I guess to keep leaves out or grass clippings. It appears that the grounds are well kept. Most of the seasonal sites are well kept with newer units. There are no activities. We stayed here based on other reviews. Unfortunately, we can't say we agreed. We stayed one night. Other than the Herkimer Diamond Mines, there's nothing do here. The owner, Ann, was very nice.

Beautiful quiet place to be at. They have an in ground pool and bathrooms. There is a hiking trail too. Overall nice place and family owned.
