Absolutely amazing EVERYTHING! The treehouse has lived up to its hype fully equipped with everything you need even down to the cutest copper sinks. The place smells of cozy warm wood, and the biggest hammocks you could ever see! The whole resort was laid out beautifully, perfect walk around all attached to the amazing West Canada Creek! Everything about the mines and the finds in the gift shop were so much fun and endless. We even got engaged and the staff made sure it was nothing but EXCEPTIONAL before we left!! Gave us a moment to ring the bell and send us off with something to commemorate our journey together. I couldn't have asked for a better trip, THANK YOU HERKIMER MINES AND KOA! ❤️The nearby towns were great to pop into as well, absolutely worth the trip from little Erie, PA!!

Great campground on West Canada Creek. Lots of stuff to do, dog friendly. Sitting in the creek with lawn chairs, watching the tubers, ducks, geese go by was lots of fun

We spent the 4th of July holiday at the Herkimer KOA. We reserved a creekside site with full hook up. Check in service was very good and fast. We really liked our site. The weather was very hot and many families enjoyed tubing down the creek. Fun to watch! They had a full roster of activities. We went to lunch across the street at the diamond mine. Food was really good. They had a cute parade of bikes on the 4th and Duck race. They also were good about stopping people from using fireworks. Now for some friendly suggestions. They had a pool party with free popsicles and pool balls and floats. We just happen to use the pool during the party. They played popular music hits. The pool party only last 1 hour. When the hour was up, they cut the music and asked campers to return the pool balls/floats “so they could use them again next year”. So sad. Kids were having fun in the pool with the dollar store floats. Just thought that was so cheap and unnecessary. The ice cream trailer, “Scoops” has very limited hours. On the weekends it should be open all afternoon/early evening. And finally the women’s room was filthy. Backed up toilets. Please correct! Really nice campground but in need of some improvements that are key to the customers experience.

The sites at this KOA are extremely small. However, the resort itself is well maintained and provides many activities. The Herkimer Diamond Mine is right across the street, an easy walk, making it super convenient.

Nice and clean with friendly staff. Has gotten pricey and lost a few amenities as well as some free family fun that was promoted in the past. Fun fact about pricing its typically cheaper to stay at the koa in sugar loaf key in the fl keys than in herkimer ny and the restaurant and bar down there is awesome along with amazing water front views and amenities. Please dont price out regular familes.

I absolutely love this place, my first time here was early 90's. While alot has changed for the best with multiple options for accommodations, the relaxing feel of the river has stayed the same. I love the new lounge/game area near the check in office. We walked up and got ice cream, of which was very reasonably priced. I recommend this place 1000% Just an FYI, I didnt take this video to post, i took it to show a friend, so I do sound a smidge annoying...disregard and look at how stinking cute the area is...
