Stayed here in mid April when no one else is really here yet. Some rvs parked seem to be stored there off season. Had to book via phone and didnt realize they would wait for me I person until I checked in so I felt bad coming late (6/7pm ish). I felt bad when the owner made a comment about waiting up for me but neither was any info emailed to me or anything with expectations for check in. He guided me to my spot where the utilities worked well and made sure things connected. Main road out was muddy and had holes so take it slow. Turkeys walking around in the morning. Quiet since no one around - some nearby road noise. Price was $50/might for full hookup compared to nearby KOA which was at cheapest $80. Cats and dogs required to have proof of rabies vaccine.

We rented a seasonal spot and from the 1st conversation the manager was awesome. He was super friendly and helpful with helping me get the right sized space. He also informed us of road work and an a different route to avoid it. Upon arrival the campground is beautiful. The spaces are big. There is grass in every site. Probably not a biggie for you east cost folks, but when you're from AZ it surely is and boy do they keep it nice. I can actually walk barefoot here with no worries. The manager is always working on something. He never rests. I do believe he is the hardest working man I ever met. There is laundry here. 2 coin operated washers and dryers. With a table and chairs for waiting and folding. The machines seem to work great. There is a restroom with several toilet stalls and 2 showers in the ladies side. My husband said the guys side was nice too. There is a pavilion that people keep having events at and a really cute playground. They even have a pirate ship and a brand spanking new splash pad for the kids. So if you're looking for a nice peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature, but also enjoy amenities this is your place.
