Update 1/6/24- while we were going to be in Old Forge for the day we made reservations for dinner at the Little Fox. Not disappointed again. Everything was delicious and our family had a quiet dinner. The staff were friendly and attentive. A "must stop" when we are in the area. See you at end of July, if not eclipse weekend

Sarah GallagherI’m giving The Little Fox 3 stars to meet in the middle of my two experiences. My first visit was a 5-star experience — great food, creative cocktail selections, charming atmosphere, and excellent service. My most recent visit was disappointing. The Brussels sprouts, which were one of my favorite dishes the first time, had a much softer, boiled texture this time. The sauce was still delicious, but the texture made it difficult for me to enjoy the dish. The beet salad was good, but I was surprised that the grilled chicken was served cold — I had expected warm grilled chicken on the salad. The cocktail was also just okay compared with the drinks I had on my first visit. The chicken wings were good! I would be open to trying The Little Fox again because my first experience was so good, and I’m hoping this was just an off night. That said, given the higher price point, it may be a little while before I return.
