Wally MacdonaldWe were in town for a soccer tournament. Stopped by this place in between games for a drinks and food. There was one girl doing the bar and serving by herself. She was amazing. Fast everything was correct. Couldn’t have been any better. There was also one cook in the back. Food was awesome. Wings, smash burgers, wraps, all on point and wasn’t even that long of a wait. The atmosphere is great too. A small little sports pub that is well kept. This is a must go if you’re in the area.

Michelle CarlsonHeading for Herkimer? On your way to Albany and need to stop for a great meal? This is THE place to stop for excellent food which the chefs took the time to cook with all all their heart and soul. We just got off the Erie Canal trail and this restaurant or pub hit the spot. It’s all around good American food. The special menu changes monthly so there’s always something special to try. If you’re lucky enough to stop by this month in July—you can get Sam’s Summer Wrap. A delicious chicken wrap with candied pecans. We had an individual with Celiac in our party and Mackenzie went out of her way to adjust the Smashburger and salad to meet the gluten free needs of this person. Now—let me get started with the wings. We just traveled Western New York and it took traveling from Buffalo to Herkimer to find the VERY BEST WINGS AT ASTEROGA ALE HOUSE. We enjoyed the sweet potato and french fries. The Sunshine beer on tap is not to be missed! You can’t go wrong with anything on this menu as there are selections for everyone! We will need to make our return visit on a Saturday so we see our exceptional server Mackenzie😊 ASTEROGA ALE HOUSE in quaint old downtown Herkimer is not to be missed!

Mo WI ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with French fries, the fries are so good and the wrap was awesome. My date ordered a mushroom, Swiss, & bacon burger with fries and also said it was great. We will definitely be stopping in again.
