Spacious, cozy, comfortable, clean (spotless) room. I slowly awoke one morning and for a second, forgot I wasn't at home in my own bed. Friendly and welcoming staff. I have absolutely no complaints about this lodge and will stay here again when in the area. The location is perfect whether you are looking for action or some peace and quiet. We spent the day in Old Forge with lots of things to do and places to dine and when we were done, we were back to our room and in the beauty of the Adirondacks in less then 10 minutes. Plenty of hiking trails and lakes to explore within the area as well for when you're ready to get your nature on. Really the best of both worlds at this location.

After we had a very bad experience with a lodge down the road (my 5 year old and I were never able to check in to our cabin when we arrived because no one was there to check us in and no one answered the phones and by the time we discovered Daikers it was 1am after a very long day driving, trying to figure out our original place, trying to find a new place and everything else) we discovered this cute little family owned motel right down the road from where we were supposed to be staying. As a small family operation I am pretty sure we woke the whole family up when we called/arrived since they obviously don't have a night crew working but they were super gracious and more than happy to accommodate us. Typical small road side motel with what appeared to be 4 or 5 units and a decently sized parking area. The room itself was clean and looked relatively recently remodeled. Beds were comfortable, there was a tv, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, free wifi, decently sized bathroom, a small dining table with chairs, it was a very nice little setup. My daughter loved it because she had never been in that type of motel before she's used to large city type hotels so this was a unique experience for her. We only needed to stay one night but we would have been very happy to stay longer if we planned on being in the area more nights! A big thank you to these folks for saving us for the night as we tried all kinds of places even the Waters Edge hotel right across from Water Safari and no one had any vacancy. Very happy we found this place!

Located right on RT28 near 4th Lake and not far from Old Forge and close to Inlet. Fairly priced rooms. Rooms were spacious and clean and beds were comfortable. Owners were super friendly and helpful. Trails nearby to explore, Daikers restaurant is also close by if you dont want to travel far for a meal. If you stay on a busy time for the area, you may get a lot of car noise from passing traffic on RT28. Firepit near a nice brook. Bunch of outdoor toys for young kids to play with. Fridge, microwave and coffee pot in room. Nice chairs outside your room to sit outside for some fresh ADK air. Great experience overall and would def stay there again
