My family and I picked the Great Pines for it's location by the water and the outside dining. We were very happy with the food. Everything tasted great. The server was very nice and took care of everything we wanted. We look forward to coming back when we're in the area again.
Jul 16, 2026 · Google ReviewWhat a warm wintery location destination for snowmobile riders and people who enjoy simple pleasures and views. The lake views out the rooms is fantastic. They ride on the lake! The lodge has no staff but it is warm and welcoming with self serve amenities. However, the fireplace had no fire in the nicely decorated lounge with no staff on a 10 degree day. Rooms are good, comfy bed, clean but nothing over the top. They do have a skeleton crew running the restaurant and bar with tvs. It is pretty much a great stop off the trail and a good place to stay.
Jan 10, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is a lovely lodge with wood paneling in large rooms that gives them a cozy feel. We heard the loons at night with the back windows open, so overall a nice stay. There are just a few things could make it a bigger hit. It would be helpful to have electrical outlets near the beds. Another small desk or dresser or nightstand, some sort of flat surface for laying out bags and toiletries. The one small desk just wasn’t enough. “Breakfast” was pretty wimpy, but the coffee was good.
Sep 30, 2025 · Google ReviewIt was snowmobiling season so it is NOT quiet. Great views across 4th lake. Rooms are dilapidated, but mostly clean. Water in the room was not potable due to s treatment issue. Toilet leaked from a suspected bad wax ring/seal and the jacuzzi tub was filthy. We bought clorox and bleached it four times and still a ton of sticky brown scum came through. Yuck. Its the Adirondacks though. Nobody has money for maintenance and there is a serious shortage of help. The on-site tavern was good.
Mar 9, 2026 · Google ReviewWhat a lovely little retreat. This hotel was perfect for our family. On our short stay, we enjoyed the boating, fishing, relaxing, and proximity to town. It was a pleasant surprise that the hotel offered a light breakfast for us before our days adventures. Our dog fully enjoyed the grounds and having a place where she could comfortably join us on our vacay.
