Sarah PalladinoWe just did a trip on the Hudson with Garrett as our guide. The Hudson River Gorge is stunning, and doing a trip is the best way to see it. We had ages 9 to 80 in our boats and the rapids were manageable and fun for everyone this time of year (July). It’s a great mix of adventure and excitement and floating and swimming. Garrett was our guide, and we all agreed we had the best guide! He was fun, funny, knowledgeable, calm, and amazing in a couple spicy moments. He was also watching the other boats our day, and did a great job making sure everyone’s trip was fun and safe. I chose ARO because I live in the area, and have heard from many over the years ARO is the safest and has the most experienced guides. I’m not knocking other companies, but when I have nieces, nephews, and grandparents, I want to make sure it’s the safest. I would still chose ARO every time.

Gabbie BakerWe did a sisters trip on the Black River in Watertown, NY and the entire experience start to finish was absolutely incredible! We had Matt as our guide and Sophia (a guide in training) and they were phenomenal! You could tell they were very experienced, they taught us exactly what we needed to do to have the best experience safely. We will for sure be back for another round! Thank you for a memorable trip! Also special shout out to the photographer for capturing such amazing pictures!!! 👏🏻

Gloria HoveyCecelia was an amazing guide! The whole experience was a boat load of fun (figuratively and literally😉) for our group. Cecilia was safety conscious and added the right mix of humor and joy to our experience. She was very knowledgeable about the river. Felipe DelgadoWe wanted to try rafting and found this place while staying in New York. It was not only a great experience because we learned so much while in the raft but we felt safe as well as had fun. Our guide Nate had all the jokes and kept us entertained with stories along the way. Every staff member we met were friendly and fun so I would recommend rafting here just have your jokes ready and be ready to get wet.
