JA great spot to cool off on a hot day! I ordered the Peanut Butter Cup Flurry, but it was really just vanilla soft serve topped with peanut butter cups rather than a blended flurry. That said, the soft serve was refreshing but nothing special. I also appreciated that they used peanut butter cups that weren’t Reese’s—it was a nice change and gave it a unique flavor. Overall, it was still a tasty treat, just not quite what I expected when ordering a flurry. On the back side is a merch store with some cheap shirts repping ADK

Lynn MThe atmosphere of the ice cream shop and food service is fun. Every time someone puts a tip on the tip jar, the employee helping shouts, "Tip! Hip!" and then everyone joins in for the "Hurrah!" When I was there on July 4th, 2026, the power across Old Forge was out. Most shops closed because it's hard to do transactions without power. The Pied Piper stayed open with a limited menu - whatever could be made without electricity, hard ice cream, and what could be made using a limited amount from generator. I appreciated being able to get something to eat. By the time I was ready for ice cream, the power was back on, so I was able to enjoy the Dole Whip!

Jack FurlongI always love visiting Pied Piper when I am in Old Forge. They have a classic selection of American drive in fast food that tastes great. I recommend getting the cheeseburger and cheese fries. What is my sleeper pick is getting a chocolate shake. It’s so smooth it’s like a drinking perfectly cold chocolate milk. It’s hard to describe but it’s so good. They also have a nice ice cream spot attached and the soft serve they have there is also great. On top of all of this they have a nice little store on the side which is worth stopping into as well.

Matthew FuhrkenDo yourself a favor, and get the gravy with your fries, even if you normally don't like gravy with your fries. Prices were good, food is simple and as described, but that's perfect. Especially after a long day at Enchanted Forest, that they are right outside of. And they have ice cream!
