Gretchen AyresThe cruise was very informative, comfortable and relaxing. The scenery was breathtaking. Greeted warmly by two crew members. The narrative during the cruise was full of interesting history. ( If sitting outside a bit hard to hear) The crew were able to answer additional questions. Snacks and drinks were available for purchase. There was a Restroom on boat. Highly recommend.

Jessica FaithWent on a field trip here with second graders. They do a phenomenal job with the canal tour; very engaging and interactive with the kids. Informative and entertaining! I highly recommend checking it out. The cruise itself is very relaxing 😌

Sue RomeroI already knew quite a lot about the Erie Canal, but this cruise taught me so much more! The recorded narration was interesting, informative, and entertaining. On top of that, the captain added even more interesting stories of his own experiences in the lock. Best of all, we got to experience going through a lock which I had never done before. There's really nothing quite like that! Overall, I had a great time on the cruise.

JESSICA ROYER-COLBORN4.5 stars. On time, very friendly and knowledgeable crew. While there was a prerecorded tour that was quite informative I docked 0.5 stars because the recording was difficult to hear while the boat was moving - which was 95% of when the recording was being played. Otherwise very good tour and would still recommend! We had ages 7-70 with our group including a teenager and all enjoyed. Of course going thru the lock (twice!) was the highlight.

Janet SwopeI remember learning the song 🎶 "I've got a mule her name is Sal...15 miles on the Erie Canal." I not only wanted to SEE this part of American 🇺🇸 history, but EXPERIENCE it as well. The Erie Canal guided tour boat ride was EXCEPTIONAL! Captain Mike was fantastic. My favorite part was actually getting to pass through Lock 18. It was amazing to see how all of the lock system works. This was the highlight of our trip to Herkimer!
