Derek M. PumaIn the Winter months the mountain is a ski resort but during the Summer & Fall months you can do a 30-45 minute hike up it to a beautiful view! There's also lots of bike trails as well & for a fee they offer a chairlift ride to the top as an option. If you're in the Old Forge area I highly recommend this as a must see & do!

LPMaikeEven if you're afraid of heights, get on. The views are incredible. The pictures don't do it justice. There is a 20-25 minute loop that you can hike once at the top. Wear good walking shoes for it, as its a narrow trail with lots of roots and some incline/declines. The walk is fairly easy, we did it with kids. Its neat because you aren't likely to pass anyone else and its dense forest.

Ryan MuldovanMountain bike trails here are very well maintained! Tons of riding for all skill levels even kids. Parking has bathrooms and is located sorta in the middle of the trail system. Flow trails are rad with fairly easy switchback climbs. Can't not have fun here!

Stephanie HastwellWhat a beautiful little gem in the Adirondacks. I've live not to far from here all my life (30+) years and only heard about the scenic chair lift ride last year. We decided to ride up and see the beautiful fall views. It was absolutely spectacular. There is a nice little walking trail that takes about 20 minutes and several lookout points at the top of the lift. The views are amazing. We live in a breathtaking area and the fall colors only add to it. The price is super reasonable. Especially if you want to bring the family. It would be a fun event for all!

Megan RMcCauley Mountain Ski & Mountain Bike Center is a great place to check out! We ventured out during the autumn leaf changing season and it was absolutely gorgeous! The ski lift provided an expansive view of all the beautiful colors of the leaves. You can stop at the top and enjoy the view for longer. There are some great Adirondack chairs provided to let you sit and relax for a little bit. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend it!
