Renuka VenugopalWe really loved our stay at the Canal Side Inn. The rooms were comfortable and clean with a huge bedroom and a living room with a pull on couch and tv.. The restroom was huge and well kept. The service was good and this place is close to few scenic trails and the Main Street and some local shops. It was also pet friendly. We would def come back.

Jay's North Country ReviewsThis is a beautiful room. We stayed in the Bocuse room. Cons: It got very cold in the room and we only got it warm with the space heater provided. The bathroom door doesn't close. And the other door inside the bathroom to the toilet doesn't close. The windows were drafty. We could hear people talking outside on the sidewalk easily so it was a bit noisy. At night there was a noisy water trickling sound. There weren't many outlets available. The only convenient ones were right by the bed. Pros: All the appliances worked. The bathroom is beautiful and big. The whole room was very spacious. The TV had lots of shows and channels to watch. The entire room was clean. The location is great. We walked around the area and it was very nice. The breakfast provided across the street was good. They had yogurt, bagels, muffins, chips, soda, water, granola bars, coffee, cereal, bananas, apples, and oranges. Also they have free soda, water, and chips all day in the same spot. The room and location is cute and charming and has a lot of character. We would stay here again.

Renee DeveansWhat a meal!!! Calamari appetizer with a fantastic chili dipping sauce, prime rib dinner and the most amazing cheese cake dessert! The atmosphere was warm with plenty of art to view. Chef John was personable with a genuine concern for any dietary wants or needs. He personally checked in on our table and made sure everything was to our liking. He and all the staff were welcoming and will have many future visits from me! Thank you, I haven’t stopped smiling since I left the restaurant!

Daniel McDonoughHad a lovely lunch here with family after a memorial service. Staff was really thoughtful and offered their condolences, and also helped us combine a few tables. We had a nice Caesar salad followed by a great shrimp cocktail. For the main I had haddock stuffed with crab. It was delicious and presentation was top notch. My daughter had the filet and it was perfectly prepared. Chef John came out to check on us several times and make sure everyone was taken care of. The chocolate mousse for dessert was rich, creamy and a perfect ending for the meal. Highly recommend Canal Side Inn.

Beth MosherThe food was delectable! Chef John came out to see how we were doing several times. He is very personable and attentive to details. The food presentation was great and appropriate for each item. My husband and I got different items so we could taste each thing. It was difficult to select what to have as everything sounded fabulous. The chocolate mousse was a wonderful blend--not bitter from the chocolate and not too sweet. A nice finish to the meal that did not disappoint. We plan on going back again soon. This is a wonderful gem to treasure in Little Falls!
