We had a lovely time here. Fantastic amenities, lovely building with beautiful windows with birds nesting close by. Interesting place to stay and a welcome respite from all the cities we have been visiting. Thanks to the girl doing the breakfast (blue hair) because we had to leave early and she said we could take stuff. Thankyou!

We arrived on bikes looking like drowned rats from riding in the rain from Rome, NY (about 40 miles away). I was s bit worried that bring our wet, kinda-filthy bike would be an issue. Totally the opposite. This is s super-bike-friendly place; we were able to bring the bikes up to the room, no problem. Everyone was incredibly nice, and the food options in the complex are very good. Would definitely come back!

The Venue at The Inn at Stone Mill was the perfect setting to celebrate my surprise proposal with family, friends, and my fiancée. Katy, Marica, and their teams went above and beyond to ensure every detail of the event was flawless. They were incredibly approachable and made us feel like no request was too big or too small. The food was spectacular—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The river and bridge behind the inn created a stunning backdrop for sunset photos after the proposal, making the moment even more special. I highly recommend The Inn at Stone Mill and Canal Place Catering. Thank you for helping create such a memorable experience!

Historic building and some rooms have a view of the Mohawk. Good service. Very Good value for the money. Elevator. Very quiet on this Monday in May, I think we may be alone in the building. I have not heard any noise from other rooms. Some interesting shopping on the premises. Big screen TV and Wifi work with no issue. Large bathroom with large shower, although some rooms are configured with a smaller shower. Every room slightly different so check online. Nice shower toiletries included from the nearby Beekman brothers. No microwave, a small fridge. Overall very serene. Continental breakfast with homemade breads and muffins, various beverages, cereal yogurt and fruit. A nice conference room to enjoy one's coffee. Quite a number of good restaurants within a half mile although we were disappointed that the Canal Side Inn is still being renovated. Beardslee manor should not be missed but can be crowded on weekends due to weddings. Excellent pizza and Italian food are the specialty of the area. Bring your appetite. In early May not all the historic sites are open. You can spend a lot more or spend less at a cheap chain but the price point here is fair. To summarize, we would return

This was a very pleasant stay from start to finish. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice setup. The bed was cozy, and the environment was quiet and relaxing. Beautiful, historic location right on the water. Incredible views. Charming town. Walked along the Erie Canal. Excellent hospitality. Bonus: the best cafe (& ice cream shop) and wood-fired pizza shop on the first floor. I’d definitely stay here again. The quality for the price was stellar!

This Inn had a definite quiet charm. My communication with Neil prior to even getting there was already a lovely experience. The rooms are quaint and old with a little creaky and slanted (lol) which added I think to the charm. The colors were bright and the amenities very modern. The access to the kitchen again just added to the charm. We appreciated Neil for making the trip memorable!

It was a great price point and it was an excellent day. It is an old textile building from the 1800s I believe right next to where surging river. The Riverview side is highly recommend recommended. The end is located on the third floor and fourth floor, and there are a commercial spacious on the floor below it including a pizza shop. It is very quiet at night and if you step out into the hall, all the lights come on automatically. The owners are very nice people and I applaud what they are doing. There’s a large open kitchen where you can make a sandwich or whatever there are free beverages in the conference room. This old stone and brick building has a lot of charm. The rooms are very large. You can hear very easily sounds coming from the next room, which I didn’t particularly like, but otherwise this place is great
