Unfathomable DreamsAfter my grandfather who used to live in Old Forge passed, we have made it a family tradition to go to Old Forge every year. Every year since I can remember, we've stopped in to this shop. The owners are kind and, although the shop appears small on the outside, there is something for absolutely everyone. Even those who hate sweets! There's popcorn and nuts and beverages to choose from as well. Their candies are obviously the main show though and are top notch and I would highly recommend their store to anyone, even if you're just passing through!

Reid SlavinSpent my entire life looking forward to going up to Old Forge and visiting Candy Cottage. The owners Larry and his wife Rhonda are incredibly kind and hard working people. The spirit in which they bring to the Adirondack community is sweeter than candy itself.

Danica WalterIt's a small store with a lot to offer. I would say that their best candy is their homemade bonbons and fudge. The Buckeye balls and tiger butter were amazing! The kids had fun riding the small carousel horse out front. There is a $10 minimum for card purchases.

AprilThis candy store is magical for children and ADULTS. The first time going in i had the pleasure of dealing with the owner himself. He was a very friendly respectful guy.The following day i seen him hanging his 30 year sign up, bright and early in the morning, as i was driving through for my morning coffee before daylight was even finished breaking. And i realized that it was just the magic in the making. This store is beautiful. I stopped in daily while i was in town, and bought a couple wood carvings to look at when im missing old forge. I would give this store 100 stars if i could. This was my favorite.
