BUBSRussell park use to be very well kept. Sad to say the trail has not been maintained much and parts of the horseshoe are just mucky. The bridges to the other trails are all broken and the land washed away. Def not safe to be walking on. Its a quiet place to get a stroll in tho, just dont wear your good shoes

Heather Adam-Cerri & Odin12/29/2023 Took my pup, Odin for a hike in Russell Park today…it was a rainy,miserable weather day, but this park was a great place to go! Must return on a better day! We basically followed the Eagle Trail, there were some moderate trees down over the paths but we were still able to navigate the trail well …a few of the foot bridges were ….”ratty”(😵💫) but still ok if you chose your steps wisely! The woods are so massive…hard to believe the village is so close! This park could use a bit of updating and TLC to spruce it up but don’t get me wrong here…because this park is beautiful! A definite GEM for Ilion!!❤️❤️❤️ I could not get great pix today because of rain and it was getting dark… sorry!
