Carolee RocheWe love shopping at Gems Along the Mohawk because they carry local artists and companies year round in their beautiful store. The boat tour is always fun as well!! Very conveniently located to everything too. The staff goes above and beyond!

ChrisLots of cool local flair at the gift shop, fine dining at the restaurant, or a historical cruise along the Erie Canal, complete with a demonstration of the canal lock system. Really fun tourist destination right off of I-90.

Matthew RaiaSuch an amazing experience! Went up to lock 18 and back, up and down once through the lock. Great land tour to the lock, we were lucky to see the lock operate twice on land as well. Very informative tour with great guys and staff. Got to see the second oldest (though contested) church in NYS. Would highly recommend!

TheCrowYouKnowThis little gift shop features products from around the Mohawk Valley, Utica, and beyond. You can find everything from Herkimer diamonds to local honey here. It's location directly across from NYS Thruway exit 30 makes it a very convenient stop. While here, stop at the Waterfront Grill for a bite to eat or book an Erie Canal cruise from Herkimer to Little Falls and back again.
