Kayla PageThis property is very well cared for by the owners, Jon and Emanuela, and you can see their attention to detail every where you look. The grounds are very well kept and the cabins were charming and immaculate with everything you could need for your stay, including a book of helpful instructions and local recommendations. Firewood is available on site so you can enjoy the cozy Adirondack chairs around your personal fire pit. There are also paddleboards, kayaks, and boat rentals available to guests. It was our first time to the area and we will not hesitate to come back to The Lakes. An incredible bonus that your doggos are welcome too!

Jen MoskalThe perfect getaway for families. Cute cottages right on the water of a beautiful chain of lakes. They offer a shallow swimming space perfect for kids, kayaks, paddle boards and canoes. My kids loved fishing and biking into town for ice cream followed by a campfire every night. We also rented their pontoons boats and had a great day on the lake. The hosts are wonderful.

The views were spectacular, the owners were amazing and so sweet and our one bedroom 4th Lake cottage was so well decorated and updated and had everything we needed! We will definitely be back!

Lauren MorasOur cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need in a kitchen. There was also a great vacuum and many cleaning supplies available so you felt comfortable in your own home. The location couldn't be beat with a short bike ride to town. We really loved that we could rent a boat right from our very own dock! The owners were attentive, lovely and friendly. We will definitely stay at The Lakes again!

Danielle AdamsWe just spent a week here with a large group, and it exceeded all of our expectations! The property was perfect for bringing everyone together while still giving everyone plenty of space to relax. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the amenities made our stay so enjoyable. From morning coffee to late-night conversations, we made so many wonderful memories here. The location was beautiful, and the hosts clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel welcome. If you're looking for a place for a family reunion, friends' getaway, or any large group gathering, we couldn't recommend this property more. We had an amazing week and would absolutely love to come back!

Kevin SheldonWhat an amazing place - this location is a must if you are getting multiple families together to celebrate a milestone or just enjoy Old Forge and the Adirondacks. We had 10 families celebrate our friends 40th and everyone was comfortable with plenty of communal and personal space right on the lake. An easy walk to town and the owners are very nice and responsive. I would go back to this spot in a heartbeat!
