Maureen McEnteeNot all Red Roof Inn’s are the same. RRI in Herkimer, NY works so well for our family when traveling to the area. Not disappointed at all over the past several years. Year after year, familiar staff faces say a lot! Always time for a “hello” or “good morning”, whether sweeping debris in the parking lot, or maintaining the breakfast area, or pushing the laundry carts! The lobby is very cheerfully decorated, not fancy, but tastefully simple and bright. We bring our Labrador Retriever’s to the area for training workshop’s, the motel grounds are well lighted and feel safe, grass is maintained, poop bags available for cleanup. Hospitality all around, is done right! Thank you and thumbs up Red Roof Inn, Herkimer, NY.

JennaOur family had a wonderful stay at Red Roof Inn! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and valued. A special thank you to Ms. Betty, who was absolutely amazing and always checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Her kindness and genuine care truly stood out. We also want to recognize Rachel, who was so friendly and welcoming to our kids during breakfast each morning. She made them feel special and helped start our day with smiles. While every staff member we encountered was warm and accommodating, Ms. Betty and Rachel made a lasting impression on our family. Thank you all for your outstanding hospitality—we look forward to staying again!

Sparrow MathesonI showed up early, and the front desk and housekeeping were very accommodating. I was able to check in early, and the woman i spoke with was so personable. She went out of her way to help me, and we joked around while she was working it out. The room was small, but nicely decorated. All together, it was a great experience!

Julie GutowskiWe had a great stay at this Red Roof Inn. I gave the room 4 stars, as the a/c was either very cold or off, and the beds maybe could have been more comfortable (we survived). Everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. In the morning, there were staff members everywhere - cleaning rooms, sweeping sidewalks and restocking the clean & nice breakfast area. The breakfast was modest (no hot items except oatmeal or toast) but covered all the bases and was of very good quality. We would definitely stay here again - great value for the price!

Paul KretchmerThe red roof Inn and suites Herkimer was exactly what we were looking for. Our first trip to check out the diamond mines, we simply wanted a budget, friendly accommodation that was pet friendly. The staff were awesome. The room was just what we needed, (those space was tight ) and there were some great choices to dine nearby. The staff was very dog, friendly, so Caelan had a great time as well!
